Mlysia One Day Trip
23 August 2009
It starts off with a 4 1/2 hrs sleep after I got back to home, wake up ard 6.30am, quickly pack up, bath and left off to meet edm below the block at 7am. Reached wdl at 7.45am, went off to had breakfast at ya kun and just to realise that we are suppose to meet kw at 8.30am instead of 8. Wad make things worse is he reached at 9am..

Amazingly the trip to JB was fast, not much of a people, there hardly any queue at the ICQ (immigration custom q...?) we reached City Square at around 10.30am, grab a movie: Laughing Gor: Turning point at 11am for RM10(wkend prices) and somemore its cathay LOL! The movie was pretty nice, but the main actor cldnt really perform as there alot of lau jiaos in the movie.

OK, b4 I carrying on, I need to give a side note:
City Sqaure - a hougang mall kind
Tesco - hougang plaza
Jusco - vivocity
The store - econs supermrt

So after the movie we went to Tesco area(tesco and jusco are just side by side) and dine in at jusco 1st. We had our lunch at a restuarant call xi huang de(xi huang=likes, de = ground) its very similar to kim gary and the food there are good and paying half price compared to kim gary due to currency convertion.

We shop ard at jusco for a while realising that its kind of boring lol. So we travel to tesco on foot and its quite troublesome as we need to walk down via the carpark(there like 3 floors of open-air car park) then down to the gantry, passed that and walked down the road to the main road and cross to the other side then TA!TA! there u go, Tesco... a forsaken mall.

But hey even a mall like this managed to give us some entertainment in arcade, the rest of the mall seems to neglect that. We spent quite some time playing some games, I even had my leg ache after playing that jap police game where u have to avoid getting shot by squatting down or moving left or right.. *to whoever going to try this game, pls remember to do warm up 1st!!*

Took a cab at 16 ringgit to another "mall" called the store which is basically like a old supermart. Toured around the place(like those shop houses in geylang) while having a little difficulties due to the leg ache =P, and then finally settled down for seafood dinner. The store there is smth like the bras basar, super old.

We had 3 dishes, curry fish head (RM25), kang kong (RM7), fried yam(RM18). Its pretty nice but I still prefer the one in serangoon, opp zhss, but hey what is there to complain when its only 10bucks each. I also ordered 5 satay but it apparently end up as chicken wing, and we didnt managed to reject. Then we changed 2 of it to prawns as we are really at the limit. I tried both, its really pretty good.

After dinner, we grab some stuff like yakult from the supermart and then a cab back to icq, and back to sg, due to rushing to watch soccer match, we took a cab back home =P

Looking forward for another short getaway.

21 August 2009
How it seems that I had been visiting clarke quey a million times lately, haha anyway, here it is, the clinic bar
Photobucket

no offense, but the drinks is way too expensive and its not really nice LOL, and its a chore to drink with the stupid tube. All its worth is the pictures which is also hard to take cos the hold "liquid" stand is damn high..

anwyay, after enjoying the hot air outside the clinic, we left off quickly to.. u-know-where
Photobucket

obtw.. I just completed the full game of Airport Mania PC version.
haha its quite easy...
Photobucketa>

u can see all are gold medalist except the bronze for multiple swapping which I still cant get it LOL, and the 3 missing medal which I cant bothered to do LOL

Aston Prime, CenterPoint
12 August 2009
I am totally disappointed by aston prime located in CenterPoint. I and my grp of friends dined in at about 7pm on Tuesday(11/8).

Hey I mean its well design with good environment. But the mass number of workers there are generally slackers. Maybe there are just too many of them. They do not have the initiative to serve us.

The workers are just standing there looking away from the dining area and chatting between each other.
I worked as waiter before, I mean its fine to stand near each other and chat, but hey, at least take notice of the surroundings when customer requires help.

The steaks I ordered is medium but is cooked until medium rare. They do not apologise for the mistake although at least I am glad they return with a new better cooked steak.

Other than that, the chicken provenal or chicken and sausage meal, there a sauce that came with it. Its totally horrible. Its like a gel spicy sauce with no taste. Its like eating tasteless jelly with some chemical that cause ur mouth to burn.

However the mushroom sauce was good.

Rating for steak - 4/10
Rating for service - 4/10
Rating for mush sauce - 8/10
Rating for chicken provenal/chicken and sausage meal(without that sauce) - 7/10

working life
14 June 2009
Its been 2 wks since I started working in singtel call center. Under quality assurance, where calls will come in after the installer went to customer house and installed the equipment, so the installer will call us to ensure everything went smoothly. So, in a way, we are in charge of the installer and making sure the customer order was correct.

Anyway, the working life began to sat in. Where after work, the mood totally changes and u cldnt care shit except to return home and sleep. I tried meeting jon for some times, but it cldnt last long. The moment is passes 10pm, my eyes will start rolling down like closing shop gates.

Ytd, had bro tried my new product, cowon s9 and denon iem, well, cowon brand itself is really unheard within local, but when u google it, u will definitely see it being compared to other big brands, and will eventually tops the list. Thats all I can say. Most imptly? Its made in Korea :)

As for denon iem, both say the bass not good. Well OBVIOUSLY lol, cos the earbuds are not suitable for u 2. When the earbuds are not able to secure a "lock", the power of bass is unable to produce. Anyway, I wld also admit that its not that good in bass. Its great in high and mids. But I had heard cx300 before, the difference between that and mine? cx300 produce quantity of bass, where mine produce less but quality.
